Indian food friendly

Roti, rice, dal, and tiffins stay on the plate. Portions and swaps do the work.

Is This Diet Plan Right for You?

A short check — if several of these fit, this program is likely relevant.

Want a nutrition review for thinning or shedding

Eat vegetarian meals that may be low in protein

Are recovering from a crash diet or illness

Already see a dermatologist and were asked to improve diet quality

Prefer food first over unregulated hair gummies

Why Generic Diet Plans Often Don't Work

Most people do not fail because they lack willpower. The plan often does not match real life.

Biotin gummies as the plan

NIH notes biotin helps when there is a documented deficiency, which is uncommon. High doses can affect some lab tests.

Crash dieting

A very low-calorie phase is a common trigger for extra shedding weeks later.

Chai-and-biscuit protein

Hair is protein. Roti and pickle without dal or dairy leaves a gap.

Skipping the dermatologist

Patches, scarring, or sudden bald spots are medical. Food cannot treat those alone.

Your Diet Should Fit Your Life

The written plan is customized from five things we actually ask about — not a guess.

Your goals

Fat loss, hormones, glucose-aware eating, pregnancy, or recovery — we write to the goal you name.

Your food preferences

Vegetarian, vegan, Jain, egg, or non-vegetarian. We do not force foods you will not eat.

Your lifestyle

Family dinners, festivals, and eating out are planned, not ignored.

Your schedule

Office tiffins, shift work, and travel get swaps so the plan can be followed on a Tuesday.

Your progress

Follow-ups adjust portions when hunger, energy, or reports change.

What Can You Eat?

Indian meals you already recognise. These are examples — your written plan is personal.

Indian breakfast with protein-rich options

Breakfast

Moong chilla or dalia with curd

Protein at the first meal, not only caffeine.

Indian lunch with dal and greens

Lunch

Roti + palak dal + sabzi + curd

A pulse plus cereal plus a vitamin C–rich vegetable when iron is a concern.

Roasted chickpeas and fruit

Snack

Roasted chana or nuts

A small protein snack if dinner is late.

Evening Indian plate with vegetables

Dinner

Egg bhurji or dal + roti + salad

Eggs if you eat them; dal if you do not.

These are examples. Your actual plan is personalized to your requirements.

Nutrition for Healthy Hair

Hair is mostly protein. If your diet is low in dal, dairy, eggs, or other protein, follicles are under-fed along with the rest of you. Iron deficiency is a common contributor to shedding, especially in menstruating adults; NIH iron guidance is about food and medically indicated supplements, not guesswork. Vitamin D, zinc, and overall calories also matter when labs or history suggest a gap.

Telogen effluvium is extra shedding after stress, fever, crash diet, or delivery. It often improves over months when the trigger settles. Nutrition helps recovery; it does not reset a genetic hairline.

ICMR–NIN dietary guidelines still apply: a mixed plate beats a single “hair superfood”. We do not sell oils or claim millimetres of growth per week.

Frequently Asked Questions

Short answers first. Details match the rest of this page.

Frequently asked questions

Will this diet make my hair grow faster?

We do not promise growth rate or density. If protein or iron was inadequate, correcting the diet may help shedding over months. Genetic baldness and many scalp diseases need dermatology.

Should I take biotin?

NIH notes that biotin supplements are for documented deficiency, which is uncommon. High doses can interfere with some laboratory tests. Ask your clinician before starting any pill.

Is postpartum hair fall normal?

Many people shed more a few months after delivery. Food still matters, but the timeline is often hormonal. See a doctor if shedding is extreme or you have other symptoms.

Can vegetarians get enough protein for hair?

Yes, with dal, soy, dairy, and enough calories. We write that pattern explicitly so breakfast is not only chai and biscuits.

How do I start?

Book a free consult. Monthly coaching starts at ₹999 if you want a written plan. Payment is not taken on this website.

How does the diet plan work?

After a free consultation we write a hair nutrition plan around how you already eat. You then choose Basic, Standard, or Platinum for follow-ups. This website does not take card checkout. Learn more on the pricing page or book via the contact page.

Can I eat Indian food?

Yes. Plans are built around roti, rice, dal, sabzi, tiffins, and the food your household already cooks — vegetarian, mixed, or Jain when that is how you eat.

Can the plan be customized?

Yes. Goals, food preferences, work hours, travel, and reports you share all shape the written plan. It is not a generic PDF.

How often is the plan updated?

Basic: monthly. Standard: every two weeks. Platinum: weekly. Small WhatsApp tweaks can happen inside your support window during clinic hours.

Do you provide online consultations?

Yes. Sessions are in Miyapur, Hyderabad, or online across India. Hours are Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. See the dietitian in Hyderabad page for local details.

Which plan should I choose?

Basic (₹999) is a monthly plan with one follow-up. Standard (₹1,999) adds bi-weekly updates, a therapeutic diet, and travel diet. Platinum (₹2,999) is weekly updates and unlimited WhatsApp during clinic hours. A free consult can help you pick.

Can I change my plan later?

Yes. Message us to move up a tier at the next billing point, or sooner if we agree an adjustment. There is no automatic upgrade.

Is this a replacement for medical treatment?

No. We do not diagnose alopecia, prescribe minoxidil, or promise hair growth or a restored hairline. Sudden patches need a dermatologist. Nutrition supports overall diet quality only.

We do not promise growth rate or density. If protein or iron was inadequate, correcting the diet may help shedding over months. Genetic baldness and many scalp diseases need dermatology.
